Hi, I’m Carmen! I grew up in Cobadin, a small village in southeastern Romania. We had a little house and we used to eat freshly picked-up fruits and vegetables from our own garden. Therefore, I have a healthy diet since childhood.

Life was not easy to me. We had to move from a place to another quite often but the worse the better. Maybe that’s why I became a strong young woman, learning from adults’ mistakes what I should never do and never stop in pursuing my dreams.

Few years ago, I saw an Instagram ad from MUR models, calling for new faces. I clicked on the website; I filled in the application form and two weeks later, I got a call. They were inviting me at the office for the interview. However, I was 16. It was mandatory to go with my mom so I had to convince her. Which I did.

After a two hours meeting they decided to sign me up. OMG! OMG! Yeah, it was one the most beautiful moments of my life. I was super excited and happy.

My first photo test was great. I must confess that it never crossed my mind that models work so hard for one final photo. You need to move, to jump, to walk, to jump again… wearing high heels. Then if we talk about TVCs, you need to know exactly how to express all type of emotions right in the moment when you’re asked to. You need to smile, to laugh, to cry, to dream about something depending on the project you are booked for.

My best experience so far was the opportunity to work on set with Tim Burton, for the Netflix series, Wednesday, season 1. I played the role of one of Wednesday’s classmates. That was a lifetime experience and I’m really grateful for it.
