Hi there, my name is Daria Ana Maria, I am originally from Ploiesti, Romania. Currently I’m studying Dentistry in Bucharest.

Since I was little I knew I had a connection with the world of fashion, and I was picturing myself on catwalks and magazines but I didn`t do something in particular to pursue my dream. It was just a thought and I got stick to my little “photo shootings“ in the park. One day I saw a profile photo on Facebook with a beautiful girl and I send her a friend request…To my surprise it wasn`t just “a girl” she was the model scout for MUR models. Later that day she accepted my friend request and sent me a message. I was 16. We agreed to meet together with my parents at the agency’s office. All went quite well. I’m a MUR girl now.

During my first test shooting, I felt so special, being in the spotlight. The photographer was so nice to me and made me feel self-confident.

Modeling boosted my self-esteem. I was always the tallest in my community. For a girl is not easy being even taller than the boys in the same class. After I became a professional model, I understood how lucky I am. The most people I work with use the “legsfordays” hashtag when posting my photos. So yes, these legs… I really appreciate them now.

The most important thing in the modeling industry is to create a good mood for models on set. Yeah! This might be a challenge for all the team’s professionals. But hey, no happy model, no good result.

I like to get to know the team before projects, to feel their vibe, to understand what expectations they have. Regarding the backstage moments, all of it are all special in their own way. Models have lots of fun in backstage. It’s the adrenaline before the show. We laugh a lot, talk a lot, dance and bond friendships.

Catwalks are my favs, It’s something magical about them and it’s always another me when I step on the runway. I`m self-confident, I know how to wear my outfits, to put them in the spotlight.

I follow and get inspired by lots of international models; Adriana Lima, the Hadid sisters, Karlie Kloss and Elsa Hosk are my favorites. Especially Karlie and Elsa. Sorry, ladies!

I am a fashionista, yes! I dress to feel good, to look good and why not to impress. My style is a mix of Old Money with Dark and Light Academia during cold season and Boho during summer.

It is very important to build the image that really represents you on social media. Nowadays you need to be careful not to fall into the “showing what you are not” trap just because these are the trends on Instagram or TikTok.

Keep a glimpse of naturalness.

What super powers would I like to have? Right now, I would love to have a super power that could help me learning 200 pages in 1 hour because I am kind of exhausted from studying. I love that I`m soon to be a tooth fairy but gets difficult from time to time. But who says that being a fairy should be an easy thing!?
