Models are funny persons, I like to say that because of the stress they actually speak such dumb stuff. It’s not something that happens all the time, but All I can say is that their questions are priceless.

  1. Welcome to the MUR models family! It’s a great pleasure to have you here! Tell us about yourself, hometown and personal interests.

Hello, I am glad to be a part of this wonderful family! My name is Bianca, I am 19 years old and I live in Bucharest, although I was born and raised in Pitesti. I’ve been with MUR since 2014, trying to build brick by brick a career in this field while also following my studies. I truly believe that beauty is nothing without brains and this is my main life concept.

  1. When and why did you decide to become a model? How did get discovered?

This is funny because I actually never decided to be a model. I’ve always dreamt of walking on the runway and all the time I was posing in front of my mirror, but always when I was alone. I think at that time I never trusted myself enough to know that I can do something really good in modeling. Right before turning 17 I met a scouter who introduced me to local modeling activity in my hometown but after some time I got to realize that it actually had nothing to do with the real modeling. As Facebook is THE SOCIAL NETWORK, I could never be more grateful for having an account since it helped came in touch with Tudor, at first, and then with Valentina. Tudor nicely invited me for a test shooting and then by talking to Valentina I got a nice overview of what this industry is all about and how it matches my personal life interests. After I got the proposal of becoming a part of MUR Agency I could not be happier, so maybe this is when it was decided for me that I am a model. (Thx Valentina and Tudor ^^)

  1. Tell us about your first test shooting!

My first test shooting got me thousands of feelings at the same time. It was most likely “I have no idea what am I doing here”. From the beginning, I knew it would be a challenge. I think the most difficult thing was to find a way to get there because I was still living in Pitesti at that time and I could not go alone as I was underage. I think everything was meant to be that way as I found right in time someone free to drive me there. When I reached the studio, I was very nervous and impatient. I think on the way I have watched dozens of videos of models posing and interviews. So when all the euphoria of meet & greet, make-up and hair was done I found myself in the front of Tudor’s camera. Surprisingly, everything went extremely natural and we had such a good time. I believe that him being my scouter helped a lot because I knew from the start that he thinks my looks are good so it was like a confidence boost for me.

  1. What’s the best thing about modeling for you so far?

There are so many things good about modeling that I can choose from, but one of which has totally changed my life is the effect it had on my own self. Personal development is the thing that modeling has gifted me like nothing else. From self-confidence improvement and communication skills to body language interpretation all those things made me who I am in the present day and I couldn’t t be more grateful for what modeling has given me so far.

  1. What do you like most when you work with a photographer? Do you have any special preparation before posing to a photographer? We are sure you might have some unusual/funny backstage stories. Share some of them with us!

I always believe that the key to a great shooting is the chemistry between the photographer and the model, so I am always trying to make a connection to my photographers. I like to talk to them, make jokes and just relax so posing will come natural. No special preparation is needed just some warm up talk so I won’t feel like posing to a stranger. I think the best experience with a photographer I’ve had so far was in India where during all day shooting we played music and danced so no one felt like we were actually at work.

  1. Tell us about your experiences in catwalks/campaigns and also some cool/funny backstage. Which fashion designers you’ve already worked for? What do you think of when walking down the runway or posing on the set? What is the dumbest think you’ve ever heard a model say? (lol)

It’s been already 2 years with MUR so I had experienced almost all kinds of jobs from catwalks to online shootings and commercials. Between all of them I think my personal fav are commercials because they are a mix of fashion and movies. I could never stick to just one type of art. As far as my experience is concerned, in Romania I’ve worked with many important designers like Stephan Pelger and Kinga Varga and internationally I had the pleasure to be the image of Tarun Tahiliani, Vidhi Singhania and Sabya Sachi. In matters of posing, I like to be very into my role, my attitude. I get my feelings on such a high level that they can be easily read on my face. I love experiencing new moods in my work so that I can always improve it. Walking down the runway is completely other story. I have to admit I feel very nervous when I have to walk in front of so many people, so what I do is just settle one way to look, preferably above the photographers and just walk and think that “Okay I’m the most awesome person in this place, everyone’s looking at me for being so awesome”. And it actually works, I lose all my fears like this. Models are funny persons, I like to say that because of stress they actually speak such dumb stuff. It’s not something that happens all the time, but All I can say is that their questions are priceless.

  1. What are your fav male and female models that inspired you for pursuing a modeling career?

I think I was never interested in male models so that’s why even now I don’t really have one to inspire me, but for females I think I have two women that are true inspiration for me. Lesley Lawson, better known for her nickname Twiggy, is the first women model to make me search more about this field. I was playing dress-up games a few years ago, when I found her character who had all those amazing outfits and then I started google-ing her more and that’s how I got in touch with true fashion for the first time. I also admire Karlie Kloss for promoting studies towards girls and being a self-made girl. She has hobbies and interests apart from modeling which is something that I really admire and want for myself as well.

  1. Are you a fashionista? What do you like to wear when you are not working as a model?

I can say I am a fashionista, but I like to keep my inspiration for outfits only for good occasions. On a daily basis when I have to run around the city I always take extremely large t-shirts, skinny jeans, converse and leather jacket. I like to feel comfortable and move easily, but when it comes to parties and going-out for dinner or meetings I like to use my imagination and mix patterns and accessories so in the end I can have something actually breath-taking.

  1. What do you think about show business and also about social media?

Show business and social media are everywhere nowadays. Even if we like them or not, we gotta live with them. So, I am just trying to get used to living in their era without getting too much into it so I can still feel everything real not through a screen.

  1. If you could have a super power what would it be? Who’s your favorite superhero?

Since I was a kid I was used to watching all those superheroes cartoons. I remember how much I loved The X-men, but growing up made me realize that the only super power I need is making my dreams real in terms of materializing them, giving them life.
